What is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)?
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that teaches a smaller person how to defend himself against a larger adversary by using leverage and proper technique.TheGracie family, the founders of BJJ, modified judo and traditional Japanese jujutsu to create the art.
Youth Jiu Jitsu- 60 minute class for ages 5-14 years old. Incldes warm up, technique, and games.
Adult Jiu Jitsu- 90 minute class ages 14 and up. Includes warm up, technique, drilling, and rolling (sparring).
Kickboxing- 90 minute class ages 14 and up. Includes warm up, conditioning, technique, and light sparring (not required).
Adult BJJ Basics- 90 minutes, geared specifically for beginners, normally white, green, or blue belts.
Open Mat- 2.5 hours of working on technique/ rolling at your own pace.
